The trouble is if I start making it for him too.. man, that's a LOT of dog food
 to make sure you have around Lol.. But the biggest problem is this: he's
funny.. it's kind of a joke with people who have Labradors..

'Females "tear up your house" (like chewing holes in furniture and walls
(g)), but Males Steal the Food off you Plate'.. especially if you ever give
them any "human" food :) :)

So we've learned from experience that if we toss Toby a piece of hamburger at a
picnic, or whatever, forget it.. he's a demon for the next 6 months and no
one's dinner dish is safe haha Nor is anything related to human food you might
leave out on a counter or table top :) :) If you stick to "dog food" with him,
he's very well behaved (mostly) hehe

I'm so glad the govenment seems to looking into all of that type of stuff.. at
least it seems tha way.  Finally..

Not much in the way of taste for humans given lack of seasonings.. no beef
broth, salt, garlic.. etc.. no bread crumbs..

hehe.. That was just so the change wasn't a shock.. after a day or two, I
stopped the added dry stuff.

She is doing really really well now :)  She's going outside and is very much
back to normal pretty much.. she still stumbles now and again, being not
exactly sure-footed, but not so bad all in all.    The Doc says the thyroid
test was normal so she's just gotta stop eating so much... so we're cutting
back down some more. Another visit this week to discuss strategies and more
exercise plans. Rough with the throat condition she has, because you don't want
to cause the dog to overexert themselves.  Poor baby...This all started when
she got spayed, she was skinnier than Toby before that :( :(
