I know; he really surprised me when he went for the combo plate. I guess
the old ties to the state and memories of enjoying good bbq are kicking

It's not one of Steve's favorite vegetables (beats yellow squash &
brussels sprouts tho) but I can get away with serving it every once in a
while.  Stir fries are good ways to use it, as is raw in salad and
zuchinni bread or muffins are always appreciated.

I think part of it might be the way eastern NC does their bbq--that
pepper/vinegar sauce is light but good.

More likely he'll drive me past one as I don't have a license.  Huge
cattle operations (as in NM, near the state line with TX-El Paso) can be
just as odiferous.

The equation of elderly humans smelling like lamb is one I'd never come
across.

If it makes the difference of likeing or REALLY liking them, yes.  The
chicken ones you did without the rosemary last summer just did not have
the same appeal as the lamb, with rosemary.
