Perhaps their chili sauce _is_ sriracha.  No soy sauce?  I'm surprised.

And for what purpose is that tip?  As reward for the highly
professional manner in which s/he presents the bill?  Historically,
tipping was intended as a mark of appreciation for better than average
personal attention or service by hotel or similar staff, or so I
understood.   Now it seems that tipping is no more than an
acknowledgement that floor staff are underpaid and need your charity.

On the basis of all that, your Roslind is in the same class as, or
higher than the Mafia bosses in Italy!  As someone who had the leaders
and shakers in the Canuk government literally by the short and curlies,
she was in a position to subvert and influence both domestic and
foreign policies of the country.  And she gave all that up for teaching
and YOU!  (Or did she?)  Does she still take assignments to special
order?   In any case, tipping her would conform with the original
purpose of tipping - for far better than average service.  Or if the PM
followed the advice given to his wife by Roslind, her additional
remuneration could be viewed as a consultancy fee.

I am sure the Innuit community was very pleased to have a
representative in a position of such power.  :)

      Title: Shaker Vegetable Barley Soup
 Categories: Shaker, Soups, Beef, Vegetables
      Yield: 6 Servings
 
      1    Good-sized (soup) marrow
           -bone (2-3 lb), cracked
      1 lb Chuck beef, cubed (500g)
      2 tb Butter
  2 1/2 qt Water (10 cups)
  1 1/2 ts Salt
  1 1/2 ts Sugar
    1/4 ts Pepper
      2 tb Minced parsley
    1/4 c  Barley
      1 c  Diced carrots
      2 c  Cooked skinless tomatoes
    1/4 c  Finely chopped onions
    1/2 c  Finely chopped celery
      1 c  Peas
      1 c  Cubed potatoes
    1/2 c  Chopped cabbage
 
  Hancock Shaker Village.
  
  Put soup bone in large kettle. Brown beef lightly in butter, add to
  kettle. Add water, salt, sugar, pepper and parsley. Bring to boil,
  cover and simmer 1 hour. Skim surface occasionally. Add barley and
  simmer 1 hour longer. Add carrots, tomatoes, onions and celery. All
  vegetables should be chopped fine. Cover. Simmer 45 minutes. Add
  remaining ingredients. Simmer 15 minutes longer. Serves 6 - 8.
