ARRRRGGGGHHHH!!! As a ham you should know better than to make a statement like
that. Antennae do not care if a signal is digital or analog. They *MAY* care
about the frequency of the carrier and some other "fine tuning" considerations.
But, analog or digital? Give me a break! That's marketroid speak aimed at the
unsuspecting public.

I am going to use an HD-8800 (http://tinyurl.com/8bayantenna) on a 35' tower.
It's a doubled HD-4400 (4 bay UHF antenna) for fringe reception as one of my
main PBS outlets is 75 miles away ... not a problem in VHF analog days. If that
doesn't work I'll go with an HD-9095P.

I went around and around with my local NPR station over one of their begging
campaigns to raise extra $$$ for a digital antenna so they could run multiple
channels on digital radio. I finally got their PR person to admit that she
didn't understand the difference between an antenna and a transmitter. But,
only after I threatened to file a complaint with the attorney general for
raising money under false pretenses.

BTW - the HD-8800 antenna is the old PD-8800 renamed (but not otherwise
changed) which is the old KU-8800. I sold a ton of those (and its little
brother the KU-4400) when we ran the satellite shop.

      Title: Mini Cheesecakes
 Categories: Five, Desserts, Cheesecake
      Yield: 12 servings
 
     12    Vanilla wafers
    1/2 c  Sugar
     16 oz Cream cheese; softened
      1 ts Vanilla extract
      2    Eggs
 
  These are really easy and good, and they'll disappear in
  no time.
  
  Preheat oven to 325°F. Line a muffin tin with foil liners.
  
  Place one vanilla wafer in each liner.
  
  Mix the cream cheese, vanilla and sugar on medium speed of
  an electric mixer until well blended. Add the eggs, one at
  a time, mixing well.
  
  Pour mixture over the vanilla wafers, filling 3/4 full. Bake
  for 25 minutes. Remove from pan when cool. Chill.
  
  Top with fruit preserves, nuts or chocolate.
