We're doing pretty good so far.
The two games we lost in Minn were
close, and one of those should have 
been a win but for our closer walking
the bases loaded :-( in the bottom 
of the 9th.  We have had pretty
good pitching so far with my two
objections Batista and Silva. Hopefully
they will get themselves under control
and contribute. Last night against
the Oakland A's, our hitting put
us ahead quickly in the first but
Ryan Rowland-Smith our Aussie
pitcher was all over the place
with a major case of the yips
and let the A's right back into
the game...eventually we won
5-4 but it was a tough battle.

Which is why we see sell outs when
the Sox come to the west...plus the
fans who come out admit that it's 
much nicer to see a game at Safeco
than at Fenway.

-> includes 4 Huskies and 2 Cougars.

Huskie's do surprisingly well as a baseball
college, which is saying something when 
they have to compete against some of 
the powerhouses like AZ and UCLA programs.
