===================
Hi Michael,

ML> Whoa, you got my head spinning on that one.
RH> Figured it out yet? (G)

ML> Oh, yeah, I figured it out in about two seconds, but
ML> the idea still hurt my head.

But you know, there are many people who will work hard to do anything
actually resembling real work. It takes a lot of creative energy to do
that. Andy Capp is a good example, if you've read the comic strip with
any sort of regularity.

RH> Besides, I don't want the exposure to all those germs. Probably most
RH> of them are nothing I'd want to deal with.

ML> Without people who braved the germs, there would be neither
 ML> clinical medicine nor research!

Yes but the way my immune system is, I don't want to deliberately
endanger it to any thing so intentional.

ML> I was supposed to have some in my briefcase, but 60 went missing

RH> So, now you're covered for a bit longer. It could be that you used
RH> the missing ones, a bit at a time, not realising how the supply was

ML> Nope. I had them in a pocket of my bag, which I had gate
ML> checked because I was going on a tiny little plane, and when
ML> I got my bag they were missing. Later I found one small
ML> portion of them tucked in a corner of the bag, undiscovered.

ML> Either my bag had been rifled by someone who was very lactose
ML> intolerant, or (almost as likely) the TSA went through it and
ML> was careless about repacking, so everything went every which
ML> way. Oh, it's also possible that the bag had come undone by
ML> accident and the pills had spilled onto the tarmac and gotten
 ML> contaminated or squished.

Interesting. I've had pill bottles come open because the cap hasn't
been put on tight enough. I try to keep my meds packed in a small zip
bag when traveling; it helps contain possible spills. As far as I
know, TSA has never opened it after opening the suitcase. It sounds
like, as you have guessed, they were a bit careless about the repacking.

RH> I've never had problems dealing with any stimulant effects of
RH> chocolate nor any other problems with bacon. Probably because I don't
RH> over indulge in either one.

ML> I have worked my chocolate tolerance to the point that I can
ML> eat about an ounce a day without ill effect. Beyond that,
ML> either insomnia or the remedy of diphenhydramine or alcohol.

I could eat morre than that but don't--most of the time. (G)

RH> Looks good; I like (most) veggies.
 ML> Title: Curried Creamed Radishes
RH> That's a different one! I think I'd rather have my radishes sliced in
 RH> a salad tho.

 ML> Heh.

Would you eat them served that way?  BTW, the beef was nice and tender;
we'll use the rest as "pulled" beef, onion & mushrooms in sauce either
as burritoes or over rice for another meal

 ML> Remoulade
 ML> cat: sauce
ML> yield: 20 oz or so

ML> town restaurant, Kaimuki, HI in hiLuxury magazine May-June 09

Looks good; I'd probably make it with Duke's mayo and find organics
other ingredients. Whole Foods Market would probably have most all of
them.
