The "adult care" usually works out great... I've had occasion to be part
of the setup for that for a few people, including grandparents, parents
and elderly neighbor...  But what they usually mean by that is that the
person will be wheelchaired and expedited through security and up and
down the wings of the airport between gates as needed, and help boarding
and getting off the aircraft.  I suspect they didn't even think of what
might happen if a connecting flight was NOT going to leave on schedule
and there would be a longer layover than expected, especially one
involving an overnight stay... It would seem to me that perhaps that
should be considered more carefully now... at least by that airline. 
You know it's always after the incidents that things get taken care
of... like after the old lady freezes on her porch since the taxi left
before seeing that she was actually safely in her house, or something.

Ah.  Well, you'll enjoy your time with her, anyway.  Maybe by next year,
all your care and better nutrition will have worked wonders, and Mom
will be in much better health besides...  :)

How nice!  :)   Have you decided what you'll name her?  Funny how they
come along and just jump into your heart, innit...??  :)
