Sounds like you know what you're doing tho.

The fun ones to have.  We're staying with Steve's younger sister & her
husband.  They have a 12 year old Springer Spaniel who was a bit of a
clown in his younger days.  He still has flashes of it.

Get at least half a yard to have enough for "tuck under & tack" under
the seat.  If you can, finish the edges (I serged on the one project we
did some years ago but you can do a tight zig zag or ask a friend to
serge the piece for you.) before putting it on the seat base.
