Mom always had a job as well as being
a Mom. Military pay has gotten a lot better
since those days but it still isn't the best
paying job around. Mom had her hands full
with 4 kids, and a job, plus Pop being on 
flying status was never able to predict
his schedule.

It's good to be able to have those options. Is Deborah 
thinking about College and a commission? Lots of

I'm pretty sure he does, but I don't 
have it at present (grin). At dinner one
of the nights he and another cousin of 
mine were discussing making jelly and
juice drinks out of sumac berries. Now 
there are several different varieties of 
sumac (I'm told) and only one is poisonous.
the berries of the other varieties evidently
have more anti-oxidents and super goodness
and electrolyte balances of amino acids and
such that make them (supposedly) super
good for people....and my cousins were
discussing different recipes for getting 
the juice and jelly making.

I'm pretty happy with having my nephew
close by, they are over at Mom's every day,
and my Niece-in-law drives mom everywhere
she wants to go whenever Mom wants to go.
