The show is a throwback of sorts to the old time radio broadcasts,
complete with ads... of course THESE ads are for bogus products, so they
all have their own flavors of humor associated with each product...

Yes, she still tends to be like that, borrowing trouble where none is
likely to exist... and wasting time worrying about unlikely ills.  No
one in the family believes they live in the best of all possible
worlds... we generally tend to be realists, no grandiose schemes here. 
Well, maybe a couple of the younger generation might not be quite so
realistic, but the rest of us keep them in line just fine...  :)  She
may have learned a little balance herself, but we generally have to pull
her back up to reality... (G)
