-> back again.  We started in NC, got as far east as Berlin and as far west
-> as HI (12 time zones behind Berlin) and are now back in NC.  Steve got a
-> bit further west/east with the tour in Korea; he's been 3/4 of the way
-> around.

I have a brother in law who's first assignment
was Shaw AFB in South Carolina. His second 
was to the Phillipines...then back to Shaw 
where he spent the rest of his career...

I think Anne did that as well. but we always
enjoyed the outdoors, camping and hiking and
such...as long as there was a shower at the 
campground (grin) Anne would go.

My late Father in law was an avid hunter and 
fisherman...so Anne was exposed to it all along.
Her mother food tastes are very similar to Annes...
or vice versa (grin)

We used to call em the B&B boys...
"Brownings and Bourbon"...took better
care of their flasks than they did their 
rifles. Folks who simply had no clue what
they were doing out in the wilds and shot 
at anything that moved.

-> -> She's close enough to her nephew and niece (distance wise) she can go

-> It's been one of the best decisions she ever made. She signed up in
-> August, 01 to take Basic in Jan 02, followed by AIT.  Finished all that
-> by June, in January 03, was activated to train up, deployed in May,
-> Returned in April, 04 and befre her 30 days leave was up, asked to
-> reactivate.  Been on active duty ever since. Not quite the perks of
-> Regular Army  but much better than just a "Week-end Warrior".

If she's happy doing what she's doing
then she's ahead of most!
 
-> -> I'm relaxing after a day spent over in Chapel Hill/Durham for medical
-> -> appointments.  Had to get a quick lunch between so we stopped at a

We already do the pills..but thought
this was another good way to get those
"goodies" that we're supposed to get.
It's really not bad or even noticeable
in some uses...just not meat loaves!
