Was he from SC originaally? I've heard of some folks who joined the
military for the travel & then spend their career in their home state,
sometimes home town if it's a military one.  I'm glad we did the travel
we did--got to know lots of folks in various cultures and experience all
kinds of food we wouldn't have known about otherwise.

One of our pastor's wives described her version of "roughing it" as a
hotel with no AC.  This was a few days before her family was to go on a
camping trip.

So what made her not like it, constant exposure like me & peanut butter?
Having to eat something for a prolonged time when you dislike it to
begin with re-enforces the dislike.

As in your MIL likes some of the same things Anne does and also likes
some things Anne doesn't? Just trying to clarify there.

We're pretty much to the point where we know we'll have room for what we
have--but not much more.  It'll be "fun" adding the books Steve will
acquire in 3 years of seminary.

Phase one of looking (looking but not serious yet) or into the looking,

We just called them "crazy NY City hunters, fishermen, skiiers, whatever
time of year sport or tourist". (G)  One guy was stopped on a roadside
check, troopers found his gun was loaded, in the vehicle.  As the
trooper went to unlad it, the guy told him that his BIL in NYC had
loaded it for him; he didn't know how to load the gun.  One shot
"hunting season".

-> Returned in April, 04 and befre her 30 days leave was up, asked to
-> reactivate.  Been on active duty ever since. Not quite the perks of
-> Regular Army  but much better than just a "Week-end Warrior".

Quite happy, just talked to her a few minutes ago.  She's in CA for
BNCOC (Basic Non Commissioned Officer's Course) & has a chance to go sky
diving (yes, she will) on Friday.

-> BTW, all went well, don't go back until January for that medical
-> problem.  Back next month for pulminary work tho.
