Today I have limited out, so I'll upload my replies here and get another

 I had an scruffy orange kitten someone gave me right after my divorce.
 It had it's tail caught in the apartment house doors, which required  
 removal of about half a tail at the vets.  $1500..  She still moved 
 that half  tail as though it was a full one.    Wherever I went that 
 cat went along.  I traveled to every state in the lower 48 and took her 
 picture sitting on top of my old Pinto car in front of the welcome to 
 signs.  She managed to climb a pine tree in a Georgia rest stop even 
 wearing a leash and halter with a big rock tied to the end of the lease. 
 Over two hours to get her down and a night spent in Georgia I hadn't 
 planned on. She used to crawl up in the fan cover of my truck and watch 
 for birds through the radiator.  One day I started the engine. Another 
 $1500 to have her sewed back together again.  Neighbor had a big black 
 Bovier dog.  My cat would jump down and stroll through her yard as though 
 it was her  own. When the dog came over growling, a swipe across the nose 
 would send it running.  One day I clipped her claws, her swipe didn't do 
 the trick and another $1500 at the vets for more stitching.  That free
 ally cat cost me more than some folks spend on fancy breeding things. 
 She died of old age at 19 a few years back.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Catfish Etoufee
 Categories: Main dish, Fish, Black pot
      Yield: 4 servings
 
      3 lb Catfish filets (boneless)
      2 c  Onion (finely chopped)
    1/4 c  Celery (finely chopped)
    1/4 c  Bell pepper
    3/4 c  Butter
      1 ts Pepper
      1 ts Red pepper
      1 ts Salt
 
  Saute onions, celery and pepper until wilted.  Cut fish into four-inch
  squares or larger.  Season with salt and pepper before dropping into
  pot. Turn gently to avoid breaking fish.  Do not stir.  Move pan or
  pot back and forth several times to agitate mixture.  Turn heat low
  and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes. Serves 4 to 5.
  
  NOTE: Serve hot over rice.
