Nearest Chinese place to us then was in Jacksonville, about 20+/- iles
away and out of our usual budget.

I ggt my own washer & dryer years ago.  It makes laundry easier; I can
multi task now.  (G)

Yes but we limited our cones to the 15 cent size for the most part.
Splurges were the 25 cent; I think we went for the 35 cent size once.
That was after I finished all the work for my degree.
