I understand your temptation, but in fact most of this info comes from
highly qualified USAn university professors who write books and come
here to be interviewed on TV or radio to promote sales of their books.
A lot also comes from BBC programs, and as everyone knows, the BBC is
above reproach. :) I do admit I have on occasions viewed a program on
USAn border security on a commercial channel, which purported to show
blocks of compressed pot being found in private vehicles crossing from
Mexico at Juarez.  I think that location was genuine, as I have been
through there.

Imagine how much money you would save by getting rid of most or all of
the states and their politicians!   That has been suggested here, and
we only have 6 states, plus a couple of Federal territories.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
 
      Title: (Hari Kojima) Noodles Chow Fun
 Categories: Hawaiian
      Yield: 4 Servings
 
      2 tb Canola oil
    1/2 lb Char siu, cut into strips
      1 sm Onion, sliced
      1 md Carrot, julienned
      3    Sheets look chow fun noodles
           Cut into 1/2 inch strips
      2 tb Soy sauce
      2 tb Oyster sauce
    1/4 ts Pepper
      1 pk (12 oz) bean sprouts
    1/2 c  Green onion, cut into 1 inch
           Lengths
 
  Heat oil in a large skillet or wok and stirfry char siu for 15-20
  seconds. Add onion slices and carrots; stirfry 20 seconds. Add look
  fun, soy sauce, oyster sauce and pepper. Add bean sprouts and green
  onion; stirfry an additional 10 seconds.
