Worth trying if you see them sometime in a restraunt, just for the change of
pace.  They are kinda gummy and gelatineous so often stripped to small bits.

No, not much.  More of a texture thing and eaten due to 'waste not, want not'
ethics I think.

The texture can be a strange but good mouthfeel in small bites mixed with
other things that are crisp or of more strong a flavor.
