Well, I got back from Cali yesterday. 
Very poor cell phone service out where
Amanda lives ( no towers anywhere nearby)
and found out that my mom is in the 
hospital with double pneumonia and 
a kidney infection...she's stable and 
doing ok, they've got her on a course of
IV antibiotics and such...she's bored stiff
and all she can do is sleep and watch
TV in the room.
