Possibly, but hasnt happened yet. *Huge* beef industry here. One of the
things you have where you are, is more variety in meat types than USA folks
commonly find. If you perused our stores when last here, you will have
noticed that. Beef, pork, chicken, and if lucky may see lamb or duck.

Maybe, they are testing it someplace in the south at some site. I saw that
on a web blog.

And a common one in parts of the south. You can just be driving along the
interstates and see these huge stretches 5 miles long of it, growing over
trees and everything in it's way.

Yes, but we are holding steady overall. Slowly we are getting more healthy
concious on such items and quality is going up if one doesnt mind a lower
fatty layer and lesser marbling.

It's a bit funny actually. Food kops want lower fat beef, then rave over
kobe beef for it's fatty quality.

Havent noted any here.

There is resistance in the USA mind set on this idea. You can even see it
here though mildly and mostly on overseas 'farm practices'. I suspect this
will dwindle in the next year or so as the product is getting pretty much
impossible to tell the diffrence. It never was all that obvious and now, you
cant really tell anymore.

Yes, Bangus and tilapia are two that come to mind. I've also had some farm
trout recently that was *superb* and will happily get such anytime.

Cant say more yet, the Friday appointment making didnt happen as we had some
pipes burst (24F, something like -4C) so I got caught up in that. I have to
wait til Monday to make the appointment with the followup specialist.

I did! I put the big one on my back, and the little one on Don's shoulder
under his sweatshirt.
