I remain unthrilled by Mo's. By the way, I gave Annie, the recipient
of a Mo's bar in the past, the hickory Bacon Salt. We worked ourselves
into a condition where we ended up making a run to the store, where we
picked up 3# of bacon, 3# of flank steak, 1 of Braunschweiger, and
various other things. The bacon all got fried up, and I used the fat
to cook a pound of snotweed. Delicious!

We will get the Hapster and his lovely bride out east sometime.
I'll provide the air transportation. He can try true steamers,
and she can feast on fried rubber bands or something.

Razors are nice. I find them a little gamier than ordinary
clams; this is not better or worse, just different. When I was
growing up, I read all these paeans to the things, and when I
finally tasted one, yeah, it was great, but not substantially
different from a big long steamer. Later I discovered that, as
with the famed geoduck (this is Indian for "white folks can't
spell or pronounce, or something"), they are by far better raw.

SPINACH DIP
cat: airline, Hawaii
yield: 2 1/2 pt

2 boxes frozen chopped spinach
1 cn water chestnuts (minced)
1 cn clams (chopped)
1 box Knorrs onion soup mix
8 oz sour cream
1 c mayonnaise

Squeeze spinach. Cut water chestnut and clams. Mix all the
ingredients together.
