So far, she is.. and much more clear headed.. It's amazing how much of a
difference it's making.  She was just dizzy all the time before the fall - I
should have realized then something was up with her meds, but since I hadn't
seen her in 3 years, I figured it was a bit 'normal' for her at this point..
With the increased amount of the painkiller after her fall, that was the
tipping point. I knew she had to stop that med after she started calling out
for my Dad who died in 2000, and yelling at people in her bedroom who weren't
there :( :(.. I took the drug away that night and called her Dr. in the AM to
confirm what I was doing <g>. Thankfully he agreed with me about stopping it..

Yeah, ours does THAT alot lately <grin> We go food shopping and can't believe

My daughter's family loves garlic soup as well!  It's a family favorite.. she
makes it with multiple BULBS of garlic.. (scary hahaha) I'll have to get her
recipe and post it for you :)

===Veal and Mushroom in Garlic Cream Sauce===
This recipe is good with  breast, as well.

4 Tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup butter
2 pounds veal breast, cut in 2"x2" cubes 6 cloves garlic, minced
1 chopped onion
1 cup dry white wine
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
1 pound sliced mushrooms
1 cup heavy cream
3 egg yolks

Melt the butter in  a dutch oven.  Add the oil and brown the veal  breast
cubes. Don't crowd them or you will steam them instead of browning them.

Remove the veal from the pan.  Add the garlic and onion and saute until the
garlic is golden. Add wine, milk, water, salt, pepper and cayenne.  Bring to a
boil.  Add the veal and the mushrooms and cover. Reduce the heat to low and
simmer for 45 minutes.  Remove the veal from the pan again and keep warm.  Beat
egg yolks into the heavy cream.  Stir into the pan and cook until thick.  Do
not allow to boil.  Add veal to the sauce and warm over low heat.  Serve with
rice or fettuccine.  If you like onions, you can also add about a dozen very
small onions about 20 minutes into the simmering process.
