 Now you have me wondering.  Last week I applied for an enhanced drivers 
 license.   A combined drivers license and passport for use on the U.S. 
 borders to get back into the country after a trip across the river. This
 thing has an RF chip in it that can be read from 30 feet away, eliminating 
 the stop at customs on my return.  
 
 But that is entering the country, I don't know if Canada or Mexico will
 honor it, if they should decide to reciprocate for the ignorance W inflicted 
 upon us.  So maybe I'll be able to get back in, but not be allowed to leave.
 And should I ever get stuck in between in some place like Trenton, NJ when 
 Dave Sac secedes from the union with his Yankees, and the southerners will 
 then want want their own country to finish taking over all the shows on the 
 cooking channel, I'll be homeless, but with a drivers license.  Then again
 maybe I wasted $45 after all.   Just because I didn't want to be required 
 to know I was going to Canada and take my passport before leaving the house.
 
 This is all so confusing, maybe the clerks in the liquor stores will get 
 a reader like the identity theft criminals are buying so they too will 
 identify me before I reach the register.  Has to be some good to it.
