Very much so, and all of the travel I've done in Canada has been to
either Ontario or Quebec.

It sounds like I need an extended trip to Canada some time.  Other than
a few quick trips to the Falls, I've not been, except as a kid and had
to eat my mom's camp cooking (which was almost the same as what she
cooked at home).

Amen!  The last time we were there (in late 1999), we'd gone with
Steve's sister, her husband, their daughter and her boy friend. We just
wandered on the American side, trying to see the lights on the Falls.
The kids wanted to eat at Planet Hollywood so we left them there and
found a nice little place with a late 50s/early 60s decor.  It was
supposed to be like the old malt shops and the menu reflected it. We
were there on a quiet night businesswise and had an enjoyable meal;
IIRC, I had a chicken "burger" with fries and probably a chocolate malt.

That's a lot more than I'd have thought for a place the size of
Yellowknife.  It must be really interesting when you've got a good mixed
group of folks at a pot luck or similar, especially if they all bring
something native to their own culture.

OK, looks like a nice one to put into my files. I've got quite a number
of punch recipes tha have some sort of alcohol in them already; it's
nice to find non alcoholic ones.
