Which version of Angus burger did you get?  I don't recall the pickles
much, but then I tend to open up the burger and remove&eat any pickles I
spy there.  I also often add some salt & pepper and some catsup.  I've
had the "garden" variety and the bacon variety.  The one with bacon was
better.  I don't think I'll bother with the mushrooms and swiss cheese
version.

Sorry you did not get a good one.  All three that we have ordered have
been good -- not dry at all.

Did they at least send you a coupon?  We recently complained about a jar
of planter's mixed nuts we bought at BJs.  We have bought this brand and
variety many times before, and always been very pleased with them.  This
jar was definitely stale.  They sent us a check for the price ($6.80 if
I recall correctly).

      Title: Nut Brittles (Vm)
 Categories: Candy, Mexican, Vegetarian, Dessert
      Yield: 4 Servings
 
      2 c  Sugar
      1 c  Light corn syrup
      2 T  Butter
    1/4 t  Salt
    1/4 c  Water
  1 1/2 c  Pecans, unsalted roasted
           Pumpkin seeds, or salted
      6 oz Roasted peanuts
    1/2 t  Baking soda
 
  Combine the sugar, corn syrup, butter, salt, and water in a large
  nonreactive pot.  Bring to a boil.  Whisk to dissolve the sugar,
  reduce the heat, and cook gently until the mixture reaches the soft
  ball stage (234-240F), about 20 minutes.  Stir in the nuts and simmer
  until the hard crak stage (290-300F), about 15 minutes.  Add the
  baking soda and whisk briefly until the bubbling stops and the
  mixture settles.  Set aside.
  
  Grease a 16-inch length of heavy-duty aluminum foil with butter.  Pour
  the candy mixture onto the foil and spread 1/4-inch thick with a
  wooden spoon.  Let set for at least 20 minutes, then break into
  pieces.  The brittle can be stored in an airtight container at room
  temperature for up to several weeks.
