Not really feeding ,but they'll strike in "anger" and 
they'll strike at egg clusters, fishing close to the 
mouth of the river means the fish are still nice and
"bright"  and firm.

->  10 days roaming the coast with his Mom.  She has a doctor friend who 
->  does volunteer work in the Caribbean part time and has a house down 
->  there in the Cayman Islands.  He lets her and Jake use it for a few 
->  weeks at a time.  That's cool as he gets to hang out with local kids
->  and learn about their lifestyle.  Much better than going on a cruise 
->  or a vacation resort type thing. I wouldn't be surprised if they were 
->  to tell me they intend to make that motorcycle trip I've always dreamed 
->  about across the Swiss Alps next year.  :-)

Sounds like he's enjoying his youth...a good philosophy
as it will disappear soon enough...as we found out !

Nope, you can't "sell" them..you can Trade
them for Canned...plus you have to pay a
"canning fee" and they discount what they
figure the heads and bones would weigh...
I don't think it's such a good deal, and never
did it myself, but if you live in Michigan it's a 
good way to get the salmon back home in 
an edible state. 
Me, I like fresh fish...not canned.
