Interesting.  As well as the imported Italian, even the Filipino palm
vinegar has the acid content (6%), but none of the Australians.  OTOH,
_every_ alcoholic drink here, including beer, has its percentage of
alcohol, by volume, listed on the label.  Rating by Proof is not done.

Unfortunately, although I have been to America some 5 times, and met
quite a few of the Echo folk, I haven't been fortunate enough to meet
you, yet.  Manny is the only West Coaster I have been able to see in
person, and I greatly enjoyed his hospitality.

With the aid of a government grant, the Common Ground bbs was
established in Adelaide in about 1990, with mainly donated secondhand
computers.  I and several other volunteers visited many disabled
people in their houses to get them up and operating online. Through
that bbs, people with even rather obscure disabilities could contact
organisations and individuals world-wide, and discuss everything that
interested them most, with others who could understand.

It was good.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
 
      Title: Ground Chuck Picadillo
 Categories: Newsgroups, 06mar2002
      Yield: 4 servings
 
  1 1/2 lb Ground chuck
  1 1/2 c  Onion ;chopped
      2    Cloves garlic ;minced
           Juice of 2 limes
      8 oz Tomato sauce
    1/2 c  Green olives ;sliced
    1/3 c  Raisins
      1 ts Ground cumin
      1 ts Cinnamon
 
  In a non-stick skillet, over high heat, cook the ground chuck,
  breaking into pieces.  Remove meat with slotted spoon.  Pour off all
  but one tablespoon of grease.  Reduce the heat to medium, cook onions
  and garlic until soft.  Add lime juice, tomato sauce, olives,
  raisins, cumin and cinnamon.  Simmer 20 minutes.  Season to taste.
  Serves 4.
