 The place at the Marriot came with a full kitchen.  I don't remember 
 any of the local eateries, maybe on the same side of the road.  I've 
 been retired 15 years and that was just before I retired so things 
 change rapidly in that part of the world. 
  
 RH> We're still discovering the area.  I suspect next spring we'll be able
 RH> to go on line with the Dept. of Agriculture and find out who has what,
 RH> where.  Right now most of the information I pick up on is thru the
 RH> newspaper.  Not a bad source, actually.
 
 I get mine from talking with the neighbors.  They tell me Kurtchals has 
 corn down to a buck a dozen and nice big sandwich sized tomatoes for 45 
 cents a pound.
 
 BG>  Seemed a nice place, a bit hot and humid for my likes, but very green

 Reminds me of a time when I was driving through Wyoming and the terrain
 was nothing but sagebrush and cotton wood trees around small puddles off
 and on. Each one had a hogan near it with a bunch of little bare reared 
 kids running around.  In my desire to get over past it, I let my speed 
 get up a bit and a local cop pulled me over for 70 during Nixon's 55 mph
 days.   Big fat dude dressed up like Smokey in Smokey and the Bandit.
 He told me he had clocked me, and I replied yea. As you can see I'm from 
 back east and I've never seen anything like this before.  Just forgot 
 to watch my speed.   At that he sucked in that big gut, pulled his 
 gunbelt up almost to where a waist would have been and said, "yea, ain't
 it purty."  So he gave me a big lecture about how he went back east one
 time how awful it was.  There were so many darn trees every place you
 couldn't see anything.  I agreed and he sent me on my way with a warning 
 to pay attention to my speed and not get wrapped up in sight seeing.
 
 
... A clear conscience is usually the sign of a bad memory.
