That's pretty much what I do as well. 
I have found that Melinda's dried habbie 
powder works well and does not have the
nasty taste profile of fresh habbies.

Pretty much. (grin) that and a short

Surgery went sort of well. I was told
I still have great knees...at least
the ligaments are, and no signs of 
any arthritis...they had to take an
extra 45 minutes just to get past my
ligaments to get to the interior of the 
joint where the meniscus tear was...
all done now and since they had to 
work so hard (read brute force) to
get past the ligaments...my hip and 
back are quite sore. I'm enjoying the 
pain pills quite a bit...even with my
high tolerance for pain...it hurts.
