Typical autumnal weather now, got up this

We had cukes, made our own pickles, 
regular assortment of veggies that got
canned as they came ripe.

Don't really like it, but it's not bad

Don't remember seeing them in my 
childhood either. beans of all sorts,
corn, peppers, peas, mustard, collards,
and cabbages.
