Not hardly.  I don't remember seeing it very often when we were here
before nor do I see it much now.  Potatoes are used a lot more than
rice.

It's a dry heat. (G)  Still, I prefer the SV/FH area to the cities.  In
2006, we flew to LA from HI in late August.  Rented a car, drove to Las
Vegas to visit Rachel & family and to pick up our new car.  LV was
really, really hot.  After about 10 days there, we went to Phoenix to
visit Deborah.  It was only really hot there.  Then we headed to SV/FH
and it was hot.  Drove cross country to GA after that and went from hot
& dry to hot (but beginning to cool a bit by late September) to hot and
humid.
