But by then the pickin's are so slim you're doing good to find anything.
Most stores have Valentine's Day stuff set up before the end of the year
and Christmas stuff is hard to find.

-> No doubt about my using appliances like that now.  The cold damp
-> weather, especially in winter gets all my old bone breaks aching enough
-> to really appreciate the help.  This is our 4th fall/winter since we
-> left HI and I'm still not reacclimated to cold and damp.  That's another

I don't have to get that bad but do have to make sure lots of
moisturising stuff for hands, lips, face, etc is available.  Humidity
was regularly under 10% inside the house in AZ during the winter.

Programs can usually be upgraded for less than the cost of a set of
(most) books.  We're still debating which way to go.

Whatever way, she didn't get enough money for the car to afford a full
meal at Ruth Crist's Steakhouse. More like Mellow Mushroom pricing; we
tried it last night.  I can see the popularity--they're a step above PH,
many steps above Chucky Cheese. All sorts of "yuppie" pizzas with cutsie
names.  We had small salads (OK but not great) and split a 10"
Philosopher's Pie that had artichokes, ground beef, kalamata olives and
feta cheese on a chewy crust.  They had the decency to seat us in the
back room, away from the major noise level (music--sounded like a juke
box--and several big screen tvs.  Our room just had one tv, much less
noise.  It won't be a regular stopping place for us.

Nothing goes bad out there-the wind dessicates it if there's any
moisture.
