Have you ever nuked your bacon? I get good results in my microwave ... and the
cooker I use has a reservoir that holds the dripping for pouring off into a
container later. Most of the cooked out fat goes in there ... just enough to
carry flavour remains on the surface of the bacon. You can make bacon anywhere
from nearly raw to chewy to crumbly - your choice.

      Title: Chilli-Bacon Rub
 Categories: Five, Pork, Chilies, Rubs
      Yield: 1 /4 cup
 
MMMMM---------------FOR BEEF & POULTRY--------------------
      2 tb Bacon drippings
      1 cl Garlic; crushed
    1/2 ts Tomato paste
      2 ts Chilli powder
    1/4 ts Cayenne pepper
 
  Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Mash until smooth.

  Makes about 1/4 cup
