I've done it from time to time, no specific recipe.  Just pound meat
thin, dredge in flour mix, brown.  Add tomatoes, onions, etc & simmer
for 20-30 minutes.  Take meat out, thicken sauce into gravy, serve with
mashed potatoes.  That's one varient, others are available.

Decent!  Makes me drool thinking of it. (G)  We have tried to do the
bulk of our shopping in one trip, taking time to check specials, etc.
But, we need bananas on a weekly basis, sometimes other stuff.  We will
have to pick some things up this week (first of the month type) but not
a huge amount.  A major replenish the larder trip is done about every
3-4 months.

Big help there. Then, too, she had obvious issues.  With me, unless I
was coughing, nobody outside the family knew.
