I think there is a lot of truth there. I know that when I am tired, or
distracted, that I tend to see what I "want to see" or "expect to see". Which
sometimes leads to unforeseen consequences.   Bv)=

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Truth or Consequences Posole
 Categories: Stews, Pork, Chilies, Vegetables
      Yield: 9 servings

      3 tb Oil
      3 lb Boneless pork; cubed
      2 md White onions; chopped
      3 cl Garlic; minced
      2    (29 oz) cans hominy; drained
      4 c  Water
      8 oz Canned diced green chilies;
           - undrained
     10 oz Can red enchilada sauce
     16 oz Can seasoned chili-style
           - tomatoes
      4 oz Can taco sauce
      1    California bay leaf
      1 ts Salt
      1 ts Ground cumin
    1/2 ts Ground black pepper
    1/2 ts Dried oregano; crumbled

  1. Heat oil in a 6 qt stockpot, add pork, onion and garlic
  and cook until pork is browned. Drain excess grease.

  2. Add hominy and the water. Add chilies, enchilada sauce,
  tomatoes, taco sauce, bay leaf, salt, cumin, pepper and
  oregano, and cook over low to medium heat about 2 hours,
  stirring occasionally. After 2 hours, add more water if
  needed. Adjust seasonings if desired, and simmer 2 to 3
  hours longer.

  Serves 8 to 10.

  Serve hot with corn chips, warm flour tortillas or cornbread.
