Oh, I agree with you.  I just think that perhaps due to we Americans' high

It's the whey.  I don't know what it is in it, but whey stops me up like a
giant cork (as in my hearing and breathing).  All dairy-containing products do
this to me.  Doesn't matter what it is-even powdered milk gives me problems.

I've actually been pretty good with antibiotics.  Due to my sickly childhood,
I've built up a high tolerance to them.  When I get my yearly sickness (which I
haven't gotten yet, knock on wood, since I've been unemployed, my exposure to
the public has been limited), I usually get a Z-Pak (five days' worth of
azithromycin) and that does the job.  Because of my other medications and my
health, I'm really limited in what kind of antibiotics I can take.  But
thankfully, I don't get as sick nearly as often as I used to.

Strangly enough, I've done some research and one of the plausible reasons I
don't get as sick is because of the medications I'm on for my various health
problems.  That cocktail of drugs in my blood has caused the pH in my body to
become more acidic and it's suspected that may be why I've been healthy
(virus-wise).

However, taking better care of myself does wonders too for my compromised
immune system.  According to my doctors, I am considered "high risk" for my
chronic health problems and have a high priority if I ever show up to the ER
with a whopper cold or fever.

I'd agree with you on both counts.

I don't have MM over here yet (need to set up a shared drive with my personal
