OK, maybe something small but not neccessarily an EeePC.  I droppped
mine (not far, not hard) the other day and it didn't hurt a thing.

It does a lot! I'm using it as my main work station for all but final
revsions of papers for school (easier on my eyes to use the desk top),
Fido, etc.  I've got a bean bag bottomed lap desk and have commandeered
a corner of the living room, on the love seat, by an end table as my
main work space.

I'll do that.  Something on that sort is harder to put a price on, than
say if you were a cake baker/decorator.  The cost of ingredients is
pretty easy to figure out, admittedly, the time decorating would be
harder to put a cost figure on.  I think that goes up the more well
known your name is.  I could spend as much as Duff & crew on ingredients
and decorating time but since my name isn't Duff, I can't bring in big
bucks.  Same as I can't charge what designers like Vera Wang or Tommy
Hilfiger do for their clothes; I'm a no name.

We're not supposed to even reach 40 today, with major (up to 50 or so
mph gusts) wind.  The rain came yesterday, while we were down in Raleigh
getting a chest x-ray (all clear) for me & was blown off by bed time.

I wasn't a teen until a bit later.  No teen club in town and movies were
$1.00 at age 12 and over so we didn't go very often.  Mom & Dad didn't
own stock in Coke until I was almost done with college--out of my teens
so it was a rare treat as a kid. (G)
