Good for you.  One of the local sysops was very vocal about few spaces and
few blanks.  'Course he worked at the State School, up on the hill, and I
guess he had to be very careful to keep his supervisor happy about the
phone bill.  The BBS was legal, and for use by Teachers, the public etc..  
I found so many errors when I was using it [and told him of them] he gave
me Sysop privileges so I could correct his spelling and grammar.  I never
did anything technical tho, so I never learned much about sysoping.

That's the part I've forgotten... why the floppy had to be used to carry
data from one computer to another.  Why would you have to go sneaker net if
you go back to your Amiga?

My MM recipes are out on the Desktop, and I can't get MM to run on this
Vista laptop.   I have just started using your site for the same reason.

I suppose I should install some program on here that can read the MM files.
I prefer using the old recipes here in the Echo, but at least I can still
look them up, for Shirley to cook, on the desktop. 

dd-> Hopefully you don't mind me stealing your thunder on both those
issues.

Of course not.  After all, I probably didn't invent the idea, I just sort
of publicized it here.
