Degree.  They are far more competitive in Traffic light sprints,
beating the opposition (ie, everyone else on the road) into the next
corner, and racing for parking spaces.  In fact, I noticed in Paris
that cars were parked parallel to the curb, with bumpers touching, or
almost so.  This French characteristic was noticed by the 2CV Citroen
designers several decaded ago, and as result they were given a sharply
radiused front bumper so that all the driver had to do was to use full
lock, and he could drive straight out.  Most modern French cars also
have that characteristic front bumper.

Most anti-African discrimination I have found has been in Italy.  The
worst I have experienced was in Manila, when a workman on scaffolding
spat upon me from a great height while I was walking with my family.
Of course, knowing some of the local habits, it may not have been
deliberate.  It was still quite unpleasant, though.  In most Asian
and Pacific countries I am just a curiosity.  I am used to that. :)

      Title: West African Peanut Chicken
 Categories: W. african, Poultry
      Yield: 4 Servings
 
      3 lb Chicken breasts or thighs
    1/2 c  Cooking oil
      2 md Onions, chopped
      2    To 3 garlic cloves, chopped

MMMMM---------------------------SAUCE--------------------------------
      2 c  Chicken broth (heated to
           -simmering)
    1/2 c  Crunchy peanut butter
      1    (6 oz.) can tomato paste
           -Salt, pepper and red
           -cayenne Pepper to taste
           -Chopped peanuts
 
  Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Remove chicken skins; wash and pat dry.
  Brown chicken in oil, a few pieces at a time, and remove from heat.
  Brown onion and garlic; remove from heat.  Place chicken, onion, and
  garlic in casserole dish.  In a medium bowl, blend chicken broth,
  peanut butter, and tomato paste.  Add seasonings and chopped peanuts;
  pour over chicken. Bake covered, 45 minutes to 1 hour or until
  chicken is tender. Serve over hot cooked rice.
