One of the US XC skiers is from Leavenworth
just over the mountains from us, and he
works  in a ski shop and does mountain
climbing in the summer I think.

I've been to one hockey game in almost
61 years...the Tacoma Sabrecats a minor
league at some level. It was a school event
where a bunch of teachers got tickets and we
all went together...it wasn't bad, but it sure
wasn't baseball!

I gets what I can gets! Thurms wasn't 
bad, I go again just for the greens!
 
Things around here have been busy,
Anne's back, and dealing with the 
workmens' comp outfit that the 
schooldistrict is a member of is 
a hoopjumping nightmare. Plus
Anne's mom has been diagnosed
with Pancreatic cancer and though
they say it's a prime candidate for
successful surgery, it's still a big
stress thing for Anne. Add that 
on top of the crap we have to 
do for the workmens' comp and 
it ain't been giggles around here
lately. Anne's in quite a bit of 
pain by the time she gets home
from school each day, so my time
is spent making sure she's comfortable
and being smart about taking care of
her back. She's still new to it.
