Naw, they have old pictures.  I believe that was the renters car.  The big
oak between my house and neighbor is still there but the one in my front yard
if the one that fell on the house (with luckily no damage).

There's plenty more!  I just tried to narrow it down.  There's another gaggle
of them up by Newtown road, near the Red Roof Inn.  Highway access there
*may* be a little frustrating for the non-locals.  Not too bad, just enough
that I didn't see anything special there.

Yes, and this is a military town so the military discounts may not be as good
as some other places.  Some will even combine them a bit if you ask.

Oh, for all: Military discount here due to high concentration may work a
little different.  Some are active duty only and have to check in in uniform
with orders (rare and they will warn you of it), most do retiree ID card same
rate as active duty for discount.  There is sometimes a limit on how many
rooms at a time are open for military discount (pay early to get one).  Prior
service with no ID card doesnt get you far here.  *Dependant ID cards
accepted same normally*.

Mostly one I picked out just by eyeball.

Hehe there's a hidden reason for that.  This is one of the highly used long
term rent places for the military families.  Weekly rates for a family of 4
and up to 2 pets are 49$ a night.  You get what you pay for.  Don and I staye
there with no problem.  Local neighbors too when some sort of house repair
means vacate for a day or so.  The main issue seems to be folks expecting 4
star hotel at 1 star prices.  The other issue is they arent that careful
about smoking vs non-smoking rooms.  Lastly, 2 stories and no elevator.

Hehe this is the one with the bar right next door and all the shootings.  Bar
looked closed down again last time I went by.

Sure enough!  Don't wait too long though.  Some of them only had a couple of
rooms left at these rates.  There's lots of others though!  They never
totally fill up the whole area.

If any wanted a review of the boardwalk hotels, let me know.  I havent stayed
in any of them but there are some good local reports on quite a few.

Still no luck with any BnB searches although we have some fantastic ones. 
Here, they are either rat traps 'not as advertized' or cost around 200$ a
night (which I'm assuming puts them out of the picture).
