I can't usually lie down and fully relax too soon after eating or I'll
be in serious trouble... but a couple hours usually does it... along
with using my wedge to keep things elevated...

I can do tomato stuff sparingly now, as long as it isn't too often...

I've been on Prilosec (original capsule) twice a day for over ten years
now (maybe 20 now?!), and it's the only thing that is keeping things
really under control.  I used to chew Rolaids like candy, and then was
prescribed Axid which worked partly along with Rolaid supplementation...
then was fully diagnosed and was put on the Prilosec...  No problems
with the Prilosec, even long-term, but any time insurance has demanded I
try something else I have major problems still...  Of course, I can't be
stupid about it, but I can eat lots of things now that I couldn't before.

And, as I was saying before, that's been the oddest thing, that really
spicy Chinese, Thai and Korean have usually been ok for me, even when
the reflux wasn't totally controlled.  The ginger and the hot red pepper
always seemed to calm things down for me.... along with another usual
no-no, Cherry Coke...  ;)   Go figure...  (G)   Mexican is something I
have to be more careful with, though... but if not too often, I'm fine
with that now, too...

As I said, it's interesting how people can be different... ;)  (as well
as the similarities, of course...  [g])
