Yes, I think he would especially since it's such a new area to him.

I'd never thought to do it with a roast beef, and that was what we were making
that day.. I'd told her I was going to make dinner for my mom, and Grandma
said, here, do it this way...(grin).  I entered that recipe in a contest, and
won (boy was that while ago :) )

Did you ever have rock candy?  Ron and I both laugh when we think of how
special we thought that was when we were kids :)  I remember getting it at
Museum Village in Orange County.. :)

I think what I'll do is contact my son and see if he'll come and spend a few
days here.. just a bus ride back and forth which we'll take of costwise for
him.. That should take care of it.. if not, we'd have to hire someone to stop
in and feed them, just check them, that kind of thing... something we've done
before.

Oh,  that is unfortunate.. but it happens more than I know probably.  My
in-laws were maybe a little older than your parents, and it's not that they
bought frozen microwave dinners all the time, but they did it far too often
than was good for them. Most of those products are just complete garbage as you
probably know.

I can imagine - my daughter often tries to do the same in my cupboards Lol..
but mine aren't quite that bad _I_ say (to her haha).

Yes lots of laughs, for sure.  Then the three dogs (note three, not just the
pups (g)) are just passed out on the floor exhausted :)

Our winter wasn't so bad this year.. we did have some incredibly cold days, but
overall, I think this winter wasn't that bad here.  We certainly missed all the
snow, except for one last "gasp" just before spring essentially kicked in :)
Over here, we got something like 20 inches of snow that day.. but it was all
gone in about three days.. amazing to me that that was really the only snow
storm we had this year.

I can certainly understand that.  It was always the same for me, when pollen
would be so heavy.  The breeze blew it in every nook and cranny it could, it
seemed :(
