That sort of classification should keep the bean counters happy.  It
would also explain why some of the most creative Australian academics
have been head-hunted by UK universities.

And acknowledgement of receipt of a message is just, "k".  With my
scattered brood of progeny communicating that way I have been forced
to become sufficiently illiterate as to be able to understand them.
Now some of them have brow-beaten me into getting Skype so that they
can display their latest children and spouses, and the older g'kids
can consult me on their homework problems.

It has been reported that on this occasion the pilot made several
aborted attempts to land before crashing.   Now there is a fuss over
interring the late president in the Krakow cathedral where the old
kings were buried.  That place is on my travel agenda.

That was the mantra continually repeated to pilots in PNG.  Many
young, just qualified pilots volunteered to work for the missions so
they could build up their hours.  I saw one Cessna 206 which had
stalled and dived into the ground near the airstrip.  The pilot and
missionary passengers were squashed up into a small space.  No fire,
as no fuel left to burn...

I just heard of the closure of airports in Europe as result of the
volcano erupting in Iceland.  Many Qantas and other airline flights to
UK now held up in Singapore, Bangkok, Frankfurt, etc.  Hopefully you
managed to get to Roma before the chaos started.  I am due to leave in
4 weeks; why does something like this always happen just before I
leave on a trip?!

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
 
      Title: Icelandic Salmon Soup - Laxsupa
 Categories: Newsgroups, May.rec
      Yield: 4 Servings
 
      1 sl Fish- salmon, 1/4"
    1/2    Litres water
      4    Bay leaves
      3 ts Salt
  1 1/2 tb Vinegar
           ;or 3 sl lemon
    1/4 c  Sugar
     20    Prunes
    1/4 c  Raisins
    1/4 c  Wheat flour
    1/3 c  Water
 
  Combine the water with the bay leaves, salt, vinegar or lemon, sugar,
  prunes and raisins. Cook the salmon only until the fish loosens from
  the bone. Remove fish
  
  and skim away any foam.  Place the flour and water in a small
  container, close the lid and shake well Thicken the soup by pouring
  flour and water mixture into
  
  the boiling soup.  Season to taste  Serve the soup in a separate
  plate with the
