I like the "total" of all the parts, I like that
play and have enjoyed it over the years, if
a decent lead were playing Tevye, we might 
consider seeing it again...but not with Harvey!
I like seeing musicals on stage, South Pacific
West Side Story, and Music Man are among 
my fav's.

The worst team in baseball (the 0's) beats
us two out of three, and we go to the
home of the best team (Tampa Bay) and
slap em silly in the first game...whattya 
gonna do??

Hitting triples with no runners on base is 
what we've been doing...and leaving the
runner on third seems to be a speciality 
of the team...if we do manage to eke a
few runs out...the bullpen has been 
giving them back to the opposition. 
We're 5.5 back in the west and 
playing .400 currently...you've got
no chance if you lose 6 out of every
10 games you play! Now there's a lot
of talk about chemistry again...Bradly
is on the restricted list and Sweeny and
Griffey can't play anything but DH, and 
the guys that are producing are the ones
we just brought up from AAA Tacoma!!

I was being generous..only two players are 
hitting above 300, Ichiro (.356) and 
Gutierriz (.310). Figgens is hitting .185, Lopez
is .218, OOps, after last night Saunders (called up
last week) is now hitting above 300 as well. Most
of the rest of the team is hitting closer to 200 than
250 and many have not gotten above 200 yet!  Griffey
is hitting 200 and Sweeny our other DH is hitting only
220! Pitching has been good and keeping us from being
piled up on by the opposition, but good pitching still 
doesn't put anyone across home plate for a score.
Regardless of everything said about pitching being
the cornerstone of a winning team...if you don't get
anyone around the bases and across home, you'll
never get a win!
