Tell me about it haha.. I can't count the number of times I've shredded skin on
the plane type graters :)  So this is a really good tool for me.  I'm generally
good with knives and such, but those plane graters always get me. the mouli is
safe but tiresome to use... so electric extravagent grater is for me (g).

I have one, admittedly now in 'parts' that belonged to Mom.. that guy is
showing his age :)  I can't imagine how old it is.  You can still put it
together to make it work, but you know.. not worth the effort for me :)

That would do it..

Our house in Warwick when I was growing up had a huge outdoor fireplace/grill
in the yard (that was about 4 1/2 acres by the time Mom and Dad bought it). It
was something.  I can just imagine the garden parties in old Warwick around the
thing.

Good thing we never go anyplace (g).. I think I'm going to buy another
pineapple though.  I know a bit more about the type to look for now.  Chances
are the one I bought wouldn't have rooted no matter what I did.

Know what you mean :)  The one exception to the above was a little hole in the
wall restaurant that was in Middletown, NY where Ron and I lived for several
 years. We loved to go there just for their clam sauce.  It was the absolute
best clam sauce we ever ate at a restaurant.  The quality of the olive oil
alone was incredible. They obviously didn't take shortcuts or try to get off
cheaply with the ingredients.

Yes, some things over the years one can certainly do without :)  I remember
renting a house at one point that was an interim residence.. we knew we'd be
moving to KY shortly and just had to wait a few weeks..it was so small my
daughter called it a garage :)  Our Christmas tree that year was my norfolk
island pine tree :)
