He has the "bells & whistles" stuff; most of my work is done on the
EeePC in Open Office.  Steve will put on an upgraded version, probably
before our next trip. I'll give it a good work out over the next couple
of years. (G)  Are you thinking of going back to school after you retire
from the orchestra?  I'd reccommend a net book sized computer for
classroom work if you do; the desks aren't any bigger than when you did
your undergraduate work. (G)

They have been a help over the years.  Dale feeds us QWK packets as a
back up to Marc Lewis's set up.

We got our first cell phone in 01, free for signing up with Time Warner
Cable.  Activation, etc extra.  I got one in 04; we upgraded while in GA
in 08. You saw our latest upgrades. They pack more upgrades into such
small spaces!

Steve's first real laptop was a used 386 he got from another soldier
while in Korea.  It weighed a ton!  The EeePC is a nice one for me to
handle.  I didn't have Steve put MM on it but he has it and our desk top
set up has it.  I'll go there from time to time but still like to read
cook books for ideas. (G)
