No cat poop all over the floor?  At least the live animals have actual
reactions.  Live ones will make noises sometimes when you talk to them. 
When the stuffies talk back, you're in trouble.

Give the gentleman his stuffed animal prize.  I've eaten venison once or
twice, but not the jerky.

That's debatable.  I've been known to wear more than that to go grocery
shopping.

The bears are better made, and have the force of history behind them.  The
beanies had the force of a fad and the early incarnation of Ebay, which got
its start as an auction site for beanie baby collectors.  They may be worth
something again eventually, but I doubt it; there were too many made.  The
Steiff animals were a very limited production in comparison, and a lot of
the old ones didn't survive.   There is a limited supply, and a high
demand, thus the high prices.  The beanies have a large supply and no
demand.
