It's a commercial holiday in this country, just like Christmas has become.

Yes, it's very Chinese -  When you come, you can take a look at some of my
Chinese cookbooks.  I have one recipe for chicken that requires lowering the
entire chicken in the wok.. forget the name of the recipe but it was good :)

hahaha :)  Well, I don't know if my corn plants will make it.  Too strange a
season when they got planted.  We'll see.  If not, there will be plenty at the
farmers markets.

Brown arborio cooks the same way that white arborio does.  It's good :)

Yes, we were.  Highest temp was about 75 I think.  Saturday is going to be
warmer though, probably 79F.  That should be nice. It's nice here if you are
out in the sun though.  It's chilly as all get out in the shade :)
