Not at my ballpark. I have a regular season
ticket holder who's hobby is going to other 
ballparks to watch games. He claims that the
ushers (or whatever they call them in NY) in
the New Yankee Stadium make union wages
and get tips as well....some making upwards
of $350/game! I have no idea whether that's
actually true or not, but it would not surprise
me if it were. Note: I don't make anywhere
near that kind of money at the ballpark!  I
usually get less than $50 for working a game.
I'll probably work between 65 and 75 games
this season. I don't do it for the $$ I do it
for the fun of going to the ballpark and being
a part of the experience.

I have not been following the Yanks this year
at all, They'll be here for four games in early July
and that will be their only appearance this year
at Safeco Field.  Boston will be here for 7 games;
four in July, and three in September.  Both teams
have legions of obnoxious fans who create a lot
of problems for the seating hosts.

That's not why he's boo'ed. Here at least he's
boo'ed and has monopoly money tossed at him
because when he left Seattle, he claimed it
was NOT for the money, he wanted to go to
a team with a winning tradition and a chance
for a World Series ring...and then he promptly
went to Texas who was in last place, stayed in
last place the entire time he was with them,
and made him out to be the liar and fraud 
that he is today. His salary kept the Texas
team so financially strapped while he was there
that they could not afford any other powerful
players, which kept them in the basement until
he (and his bloated salary) left for New York. 
So while he kept claiming it was "not about
the money" it was really always "show me the
MONEY"!!

-> It was raining on the way up to, and into Rogers field, so they had the
-> roof closed.  A couple years ago they closed it while we were there... very
-> impressive to see that huge clam thing close up!   That is so handy!  I
-> wish the Yanks had done that to their new place.  It would have only cost

We have a really neat retractable roof!
weighs 22million pounds! And only costs
$25 or so to open or close it!! 

I'll be team captain on the final day of
the upcoming Yankee stand...I'm NOT 
looking forward to that!!
