Hi janis,

>> CONTINUED FROM PREVIOUS MESSAGE <<

JK> we were there 7 years and in that time, the company again changed
JK> hands a few times more. Now the name of the firm is fpTechnologies of
JK> Ohio. :) It's based in Ohio, but Ron and I are in NY, as well as
JK> another programmer here in NY as well.

At least you were working thru all the changes in the company! So many
people get laid off when a new company takes over another one.

JK> And yep, I not only made Kentucky hot brown but also Kentucky Burgoo
JK> :) Hot Brown was introduced to me by my hairdresser of all people (g).
JK> He was a great fellow (smile).

Sounds like ke was somewhat of a cook too. IIRC, Bobby Flay did a Hot
Brown Throwdown a few years ago. I think he lost. (G) Is Burgoo
related to the Brunswick Stew of NC/GA?

>> itself was a neat place to be and live, but it was good to be back

JK> > Home is where the Army (or God) sends you. (G) We make home
 JK> wherever we > are.

JK> Understand (smile). For us, as long as we're together working, we
JK> really don't mind... :) It's great to be near the kids though now.

Same here except for the being near the kids factor. We'll see ours
next week. (G) Also, talking about going out to LV for Christmas.

 JK> hehehehehe yes, that's it exactly. :) :)

Dad has bought the NY Times for years; they are thick enough to absorb a
lot of water. (G)

JK> > Sounds interesting, did she give you the recipe? One of the other

JK> No, I don't think so. I'll have to ask her for it.

I'd be interested in it too.

JK> I bet!! I know how fast it disappears when I make it for gatherings
 JK> (g).

We cook Italian quite often when we have to cook for a group of people.
It's easy to do, popular and we use whole wheat pasta. (G)
