I never saw that much in them either. We were out in Monterey in fall of
83; I remember seeing on tv clips of people almost rioting in San
Francisco in their desire to get one of those dolls.

The girls have been into stamping/scrapbooking for a number of years;
before Robert was born, I know that much but not sure how long before.
So, they have had more chances than I to collect such things.

I don't have a basement to store stuff in.  It's a pot I use often
enough (probably salsa making next month, for one) that I keep it handy.

It'll all settle out at some point.  Meanwhile the summer tourist season
is gaining strength so there will be more competition for the groceries
available.  None of the surounding towns have a regular supermarket so
folks come to Margaretville to shop.  Locals, out of towners (but still
in the area) and tourists make for an interesting time in the store (G)

-> It's an electric tray that came with the inserts.  We found that it

 RH> That's useful.  The lids keep heat in and keep food from drying out.

A big help there. We've used foil when using the church's pans; one of
these days we'll get a pan and cover.

-> My mom's older sister & her husband gave my folks one of those one year

I think the cord was attached. I'll find out in a short time if it's not
buried too deeply.  If it's still there and working, I'll suggest a
donation to the local thrift shop might be in order.
